Tonight (April 30 2024) here in Saanich, the Council is set to pass a bylaw that will make all Local Area Plans obsolete, so that developers can build faster, higher and denser. So goes BC. Jane Jacobs predicted this would happen in Dark Age Ahead, published 20 years ago! Hurry up and write your book...
I added all city councillors, the mayor and park board a while back. A couple have turned CCs off, but I can’t tell if the others read. But thank you for reading.
