Yes. The book is all written. It would be easy to do. And important. Very few books are written by the people who are active in the history of the city. Besides it’s very cheap and easy to publish these days.
I think that the book will be quite a bit of work once you get into it but a wonderful idea and a record of events seldom recorded for future issues. Go for it
I think it is a great idea, and one that I think you would find very gratifying. It would form a history as well as be instructive going forward. Please do Brian!
Having just finished Land of Destiny by Jesse Donaldson (a tale of real estate corruption starting in 1870 through to today!) putting the issues forward would be a tremendous asset and gift to the city and future generations as it would show us all how we got here. Very important. Land of Destiny is a must read, but very difficult to stomach all the shady deals. BTW Stanley Park, our crown jewel is one of the benefits of people's vested interests when it comes to real estate.
Definitely a book summing up your observations of the past several months is a good idea. It is to be hoped that as time passes and the Vancouver and Broadway plans begin to be implemented that it might somehow, somewhere give the right people pause to reconsider the direction the city is taking...
Many thanks for all your incredible work & data, Brian. Somehow need to build awareness/followers - far too few people read & know. (same with CityHallWatch). A book might help build awareness. All best
Yes --- such a book could be a very valuable reference. We will still need your numbers to make our case about issues such as the Jericho Lands.
thanks for all your work
Thanks for your kind thoughts, Susan. The numbers will continue until we are all comfortable things are going in the right direction!
Yes. Need actually to document all the bad things that happened in CoV since the 2008 election.
The whole city has been rezoned . Many irreversibly mistakes have been made.

I agree with Susan's comments.
Thanks, Barbara

Stuart Leslie
Thanks, Stuart. Having published one book already I know the work involved, but your and other folks encouragement helps.

Thanks for your support, Dorothy!
Always; I am your biggest fan, or at least one of!

Thanks for the steer to Jesse and your encouragement.
Yes I would.
I tend to read ebooks, as they are easier with font sizes.
But would appreciate your book as a memento of this year.
Thanks, Laura. Ebook would definitely be an option

Thanks for your encouragement, Gord. I agree with your sentiment. I hope all the good work so many folks contributed will have impact. Cheers

Definitely go ahead. Very useful for future generations to find out how they ended up with the city they're in.
