Who are City Conversations for?

Local politics and their impacts on our lives are often the most challenging to understand, as I came to realize in conversation with my own adult children, the foundation of City Conversations. CCs aim to bring clarity to politics as well as its supporting facts and even the science—yes, there is science to politics around climate, energy, transportation, etc.

The perspective I bring to CCs arises from: 40+ years residence and working in Vancouver after growing up in eastern Canada; a professional background in architecture, urban design, quality and project management; and the struggle involved in trying to understand, appreciate and learn from the perspectives of others—the younger (and sometimes the older), the less privileged, the less established in their lives.
